Description

Rectangular wall mounted plaque held by four screws to bevelled wooden mounting, commemorating 2nd Lieutenant Harold Fell (1888-1916), a former chorister missing in action at the age of 28. Lettering Roman Caps. inlaid with black, all framed by four incised lines inlaid with black. The lines are held by diagonally crossed bands. At the centre of the top of the frame is the insignia of the Durham Light Infantry.

AGED 28 YEARS.
HE WAS FOR MANY YEARS A CHORISTER IN THIS CHURCH.
'LOVED LONG SINCE, AND LOST AWHILE.'
