Bone utensil, apple corer

Description

Apple corer, crafted from long bone of an animal, most likely pig, sheep or goat. The scoop shape fashioned from the bone would be used to core the apple or make sections for eating. In the 17-1800's it was thought unseemly for ladies to bite directly from an apple.
