Description
White/light grey veined marble plaque with black-filled serif inscription to industrialist and benefactor Sidney Beetham Hainsworth CBE (1899-1992), Chairman of J. H. Fenner & Co. (Holdings) Ltd., and his wife Catherine Mary, née Spilman (1911-95), whom he had married in 1932. He was awarded a CBE in the 1972 New Year's Honour for his services to exports. He was a correspondent of Philip Larkin.
