Description

Horizontal, rectangular memorial to Charles Henry Ayers, M.A. - Precentor of the Church, Master of the Choir School. Black gothic lettering with red capitals. Decorative border, trefoil in triangle, in purple. Circle and fleuree crosses at each corner. On the left hand side the Coat of Arms of the Choir School, (the field divided into green, with a cross keys, and blue with three crowns, and a bend in red, with three Mitres the whole surmounted by a Mitre) under which the words Te Deum Laudamus.

To the Glory of God and in/memory of Charles Henry Ayers, M.A./St Catherine's College, Cambridge, Precentor/of this Church and Master of the Choir/School 1903 to 1906, who died April 4th. 1906./This brass is erected by the Boys of the Choir School./
